[WII] Snes9xRX V4.6.0 Released Reading

To celebrate the first anniversary of Snes9xRX the niuus developer has released a new version 4.6.0.Snes9xRX is a fork of Snes9x GX, a Super Nintendo ™ / Super Famicom emulator for Nintendo Wii with many added features such as Wiimote support, Nunchuk, Wii Classic / Classic Pro, support for Gamecube controllers, Wii U Pro, NES and SNES Classic, support SD, USB, DVD, SMB, Zip and 7z and many other features listed below

Installation

  • To install Snes9x RX you will need to copy the “app” and “snes9xrx” folder
    to the SD card.
  • It comes pre-packaged in the Homebrew Channel format (which you will use to launch the
    emulator).
  • After copying the folder on the SD card, you need to place the ROM images in the “\ snes9xgx \ roms” folder and place the cheat files (optional) in the “\ snes9xgx \ cheats” folder.
  • Once done you can run the emulator via Homebrew Channel.

CONFIGURATION

To configure Snes9x RX, press “A” in the “Settings” box. This will bring up
the “Settings” screen where you can configure the button, video,
Save, menu and network mappings . You can also restore the initial settings
by clicking on “Reset settings” and you can go back to the ROMs by clicking on “Go back”.

Button mappings

Once in the button mapping settings menu you will have the possibility to choose and
configure the SNES, Super Scope, SNES Mouse and Justifier controller.
Once you have selected a controller to configure, it will be presented as the
input device you want to configure. To set the button, simply click on
the input device you want to use and then choose the button you want to map.
After selecting a button to configure Snes9x RX, you will be asked to press
the button you wish to assign to the button you have selected. Below is a list
of each controller followed by the input devices and the defaults for
those devices.
